These starters are a million times better than Gen V's starters

I prefer Gen V's starters, personally. Again, I can't make a final verdict yet, since the evolutions haven't been revealed as of now.

Judging on the first trailer I get thinking.

Grass/Dark
Fire/Phychic
Water/Fighting.

Water fighting may be a stretch for Froakie, but seeing that first trailer each pokemon seemed to do two diffrent moves and the secondary moves they each used seemed to point in those directions. Maybe in an attempt to even things out?

I bet Chespin's gonna be Grass/Fighting. Can't really tell for the others, though. Maybe Froakie will become Water/Flying because of the clouds?

Are those clouds on his neck? I always the froakie had something to do with froth. I think I over think these names.
